French is also known as a Romance language which is spoken as the first language by most of the people from France, Switzerland, Wallonia, Brussels in Belgium, Monaco, Quebec and Acadia in Canada to name a few. As a world language, it is estimated that nearly 128 million native French speakers are there and 390 million people are there who speak it as their second language. French is a descendant of the Latin language. French is considered as the official language in 30 countries.
The Italian language is a Romanic language from the subgroup Italo Dalmatian. Before everything else, you all might be wondering who, besides Italy, and the people from this country speaks Italian? The Italian language has official status in Italy, San Marino and Switzerland and it is used as auxiliary to the Vatican. It also, holds a minority language status in parts of Croatia and Slovenia, located on Istria. So you might say that the Italian language is a very well spread language.
Quite about a huge fraction of the western world and its people refers to Chinese dialect as Mandarin. However, Mandarin is only an official language learnt at school. Most Chinese people use different dialect for their day to day communication. Chinese refer their language as Huá yǔ, Guó yǔ or Pǔ tōng huà. Pǔ tōng huà means ‘common language’.
